Description
Camouflage hides your Desktop Icons.
If you have a cluttered Desktop and just don't want to see your icons, or you just want to give a presentation and don't want your audience to see your desktop icons, Camouflage will help.
Sitting in the menu bar, Camouflage is easily accessible and can be quickly used to hide your desktop icons. For extra speedy access you can also configure a HotKey to show and hide your icons.
If there're just too many icons on your Desktop to have any overview over them, just hide them away with Camouflage and double-click your desktop to open a new Finder-Window for your Desktop-folder. Putting this window into list-view will allow for a much better overview over all desktop files instead of viewing them cluttered on the desktop.

Amazing App as Always, BUT.
I have been using camouflage since i can remember i have a mac, and i loved it, i loved it back there, and i keep doing so, i just have one little thing to add about the app, well, it works with Mission Control, but everytime you change to one of the spaces in Mission Control, you can get to see the icons when they are fading, its not really a complain, but if it can be fix or its just part of the behaivor of the app now, im fine with it, and another thing is that i use CoverSutra, and i have a option of the app on, that it shows the album artwork of the song playing in my iTunes, so i could know which song is playing at the moment, the thing is that when camouflage is on, it hides that as well, and i would like to see the artwork of my music, i just really want to see my desktop icons hide, but not cover, anyway, its a pretty good app, i hope anything can be done, or something. thanks!!!
it has bugs for lions!!! fix plzzzzz
I have been using this applicatoins since it was free on internet. now i had to pay for it, which made me upset! while it fails to do its funcinality when your swaping pages in lion between your desktops!(using three fingers going left or right). it shows the icons then hides them. sometimes it has caused my running applications to lag or even quit!fix it plz then ill make it 5 star. thanks
Still not working in Lion
Like one of the other reviewers, I also paid for this via the App Store after having the free version installed, after hearing elsewhere that doing so would make it work in Lion. Sadly that's not the case for me - it simply won't hide the desktop icons. I trashed it's preferences thinking that was the problem, but no change.
I LOVE this app - I do training videos using Screenflow and it's great to have a clean desktop when doing so. It's pretty much a requirement for my work and now I have to do all these workarounds to keep the desktop clean.
PLEASE look into this and provide a fix. I'm sure everyone would really appreciate it!
