VIZpin Smart 4+

I am a new resident of a building that uses Vizpin and the idea is fantastic! The security and convenience is out of this world. However, there often is a delayed finding the appropriate lock and not always the first try works.

Also, there are many opportunities for increases ROI and satisfaction. You should create an apple watch app for when people have hands full and cannot get to their phones but can bring the app open on their watch. A wallet like experience, like boarding passes, for the top 3 most used locks constantly being open. That way my phone automatically brings up the lock instead of me having to search for it. A time bound guest profile. So I can give it to my guests for a few hours/minutes when they come visit instead of me having to go down yo get them every-time. And lastly, a proximity work. If I am close enough to the door and my phone is recognized, the door opens automatically.

We do have temporary guest options available but they need to be supported by your property management and enabled. We have a video intercom option where guests can use their phone to do a video call with you and you can remotely unlock the door. Or we have temporary keypad access with our VIZitor Access Service. We encourage you to reach out to your property manager to inquire about them implementing these options.

Overall good app. I wish I could have my account logged into a few devices at once so my family can access the building without having to verify the account through the phone text every time. If there was some way to enable family access that would be great.

Hello - Each user does require a unique device for security purposes, however if your family members have their own devices you should reach out to the building manager about options for each of them getting the same access that you are currently granted. If they register their device, the building manager could grant them access as well if their policy allows it.

Update! Property is removing this system after a grueling year of issues. Attention property managers, implement this product and you will for sure be fired within three months. Worst tech product I have ever used.

First let me say, I love apps. They control my lighting, banking, car, payments... pretty much everything I do. This is the worst app I’ve ever used. It was just implemented in my building and I feel like I live in a prison now. It’s buggy, unreliable, and not user friendly at all. On average, it takes me an additional five minutes to get through every access point- if the door opens at all. It looks and performs like technology built 20 years ago. Just awful.

Update: just got locked out of my building for an hour with the dogs. App is totally not work. What a piece of garbage. This app is a joke. All the positive reviews are by fake people created by the developer.
