Have you been disappointed with the other to-do list programs out there and surprised that one didn't come bundled with the iPhone OS? Well, look no further. To Do's 2.0 is a convenient and easy way to manage your to-do list. It provides for three priority settings for each task: high, normal, and low. High priority tasks appear in red, normal appear in orange, and low appear in black. The left side of the main screen shows a check box that allows you to easily see whether or not a task has been completed. Tapping the blue arrow icon on the right side of the cell bring us an editable detail view. From there, any and all information for that particular task can be changed if needed. As a bonus feature, the number of unfinished tasks is displayed in the application badge on SpringBoard's homepage. This behavior is switchable between showing just the incomplete high priority tasks and showing all incomplete tasks.
When the program is first installed, the default settings include having the icon badge turned off. This is easily switched back to on by accessing the settings screen by tapping the info button on the bottom bar of the program.
Version 2.0 of To Do's adds in the ability to customize the behavior of the icon badge, as well as a thrid priority level. You can also tell the program that you want to turn auto sort off, that way you can manually re-order the list yourself. The user interface has also been updated to make the program more user friendly.

This version adds in some user selectable preferences that control certain aspects of the program's behavior. It also has an updated user interface, which will make the program more visually appealing and easier to use.

Simplicity at it's finest
I have downloaded approx. 30+ apps from iTunes but till now don't feel the need to write a review, till now. 4 of the apps I've downloaded have been "to do programs" (one that cost $9.99). This was exacty what I was looking for from the start. Very simple to use, no due date and a bubble on the icon that reminds me to look at it once in a while. If you want simple app. with out alot of the fluff you won't use, this is the app.
Good, but needs to be polished
I like the simple interface, but there are some simple features that need to be added and some quirks to sort out.
One issue I had was not being able to read the entire note I had written about a task when the note was longer than a few words. As far as I can tell, there is no way to edit the contents of a task once it is created (there is an edit button, but it only brings up the option to delete tasks).
The app has been very stable for me, and the interface is simple but effective. I look forward to future updates that address some of the above issues.
Deleted "ToDo" muy pronto
I lost my digital audio recorder (where I kept my "to-do" list in audio") so I thought I'd give "To Do's" a try for my iPhone 3G. I was VERY disappointed and deleted it from my iPhone.
Problems I found
#1. It isn't very user friendly.
#2. Most of the really WONDERFUL apps I've installed on my iPhone DO NOT REQUIRE that you "sign-in" on line and register. I'm very turned off by those like "To Do" who force you to do this in order to "harvest" personal information.
#3. The app "Notes" that comes from Apple and is already installed on my iPhone is much easier to use, faster for me to access and there is basically no learning curve. By using "Notes" already on my iPhone 3G (and removing "ToDo") I am freeing up some space on my iPhone.
Please don't let my opinion discourage you from downloading this application. You might actually LOVE it, but for me, I need something that works fast, doesn't ask me who I am (or require siging up for an account) and Apple's notes works fine for what I need.
