Awesome!
Was great on my Treo, is great on my iPhone! Just add Facebook integration and the ability to manage existing photos without readding them and it'll be perfect!
Don't waste your time with SplashPhoto
I have Splash ID and it works fine. Splash Photo has problems syncing with the desktop software. I have had many emails with tech support and read all the FAQ's online. I have deleted items in the registry, uninstalled and installed both phone and desktop many times, you name it. I can get it to sync a few pictures, but when I try to sync about 30 or more it fails and locks up the desktop program. This program is not ready yet for prime time. I'm asking for a refund. Funny that Splash Photo worked fine on my Treo 680 for years. I also don't understand why programs like this and Doc's to Go need to sync by using Wi-Fi. iTunes syncs with Outlook why can't Splash ID + Photo and Doc's to Go?
Needs a lot of work
I used Splashphoto on my Palm and PPC in the past and it worked great. I currently use Splash ID on my iPhone, which is also great. However, this app is terrible. I can't believe Splashdata put out such a poor incomplete app. First, the desktop version is very limited (limited features) and crashed three time when I tried to add a 100 picture album from iPhoto. Then when I synced with my iPhone, a lot of the pictures were imported incorrectly. They showed up as very small pictures, only filling 1/8 of the iPhone screen when in full view (however the same pictures are fine in the native photo album app). I made sure to restart my iPhone after I downloaded Splash ID. When I try to view a slide show with background music, the app crashes after the 2nd picture (crashed right after I restarted my phone, so I had plenty of RAM). The deal breaker for me is no zooming in on the pictures. Why would they release a photo management app that doesn't allow you to zoom in on the pics. Another annoyance is the ability to only import one photo at a time. This app needs a lot of work before it can meet the high quality that Splashdata usually has in their software. PLEASE FIX!
