Made by professional teleprompter manufacturer Bodelin Technologies, ProPrompter software allows you to use your iPhone or iPod touch as a smooth scrolling professional teleprompter. Scripts can be loaded via email copy/paste (OS3) or via the FREE ProPrompter Producer site for unlimited script management and greater security than email or local networks. Scripts can also be created directly in the application. You can also edit any script loaded in the ProPrompter software.
ProPrompter software features full professional settings for fonts, font sizes, background colors, scroll speeds, mirroring, looping, landscape, portrait and automatic orientation modes, adjustable countdown, cue points for fast re-cueing, support for international language fonts, editing, direct script creation, and a complete help menu. Scrolling is smooth and can be adjusted on-the-fly. Readability is excellent even in bright sunlight. If you have two devices (iPhones and/or iPod touchs) and each have the ProPrompter app installed, one device can remotely control the other device's scroll pace via a wireless Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection.

Teleprompting on the iPhone!
Amazing! I actually thought of this sometime back, how cool it would be to read a script from your iPhone, but these guys did it right. We own their ProPrompter LCD package, but this is perfect for quick, on the fly shoots. All you need is one of your small cameras and your iPhone. You really need their "Wing" to hold the iPhone, but it's only $129. We do a lot of onsite architectural spots and this is a great setup for that kind of work that's for sure.

Saw this at NAB and bought it after the software came out. This is the only company with software that also has hardware that you can use with the iPhone and your camera. I love this software and the wing thing that attaches to our Canon 5d Mark II. I teach a broadcast course at two high schools in Chicago. My students either have iPhones or iPod touch and I've sold about a dozen of the software so far by the students seeing mine. I didn't realize but you can also prompt scripts in cyrillic. Cool! This is a gotta have.
