"100% Authentic," Yeah Right

I am very disappointed by this game and would highly recommend AGAINST buying it.

To claim yourself as 100% authentic, I would at the very least expect this game to get minor details correct.

* why did the Cowboys (AI) call a timeout with time running down only to punt the ball away
* how come when a runner hits the ground you can't continue running
* why are kick off out of bounds not a penalty
* why are Terrell Owens and Lee Evans returning the kickoffs? Have you ever even looked at an NFL game
* a run fake? It's call play action
* how come a team down by more than with time expiring elects to kick a FG?
* why do opponents NEVER run the football.

Bottom line, I deserve my money back. I HATE this game. It's a shame too, because I love football.

Disappointing (A Fair Assessment)

I was a huge fan of RealSoccer 2009, which is why I tried NFL 2010 out knowing that Madden is on the way. I deleted this game before the end of the first 5-minute quarter. Here's why:

• Sluggish Performance: Perhaps the 3G(S) can handle it just fine, but my 3G could not.

• Unpolished Menu Design: Before even getting in to the game, I began to worry about my purchase, because the menu design looked very elementary, even when compared to Gameloft's on RealSoccer game.

• Cumbersome In-Game Menus: Very non-intuitive. Tapping "Next" Button instead of being able to tap "Passing Plays" was confusing. And you have to bury through some 3 layers of menus just to get to a list of about 3-4 plays. And if you want to switch from run to pass, you've got to go back up through all those layers, just to go back down through them again. I almost got called for delay of game a number of times because it takes so long to find a play.

• Second-Rate Execution: The screen shots look great. But they fool you. The players move around in a way that makes the original Playstation version of Madden look modern.

If you just can't wait for a better, more polished game to come along, this is obviously better than anything else currently being offered... but it really isn't worth $4.99 right now.

Sweet!!

I've only had time to play this game for about 15 minutes and I gotta say it's amazing! The sound is great and the controls feel good on the iPhone! I can't thank gameloft enough for pushing this out as fast as they did! Still looking forward to Madden, but wonder if they'll be able to top this!
