Album Review
Greatest Kiss is a fine 16-track collection of the group's biggest hits presented in their original studio versions, with the notable exception of a live version of "Shout It Out," a track recorded at the opening of the group's 1996 reunion tour that was added to entice dedicated collectors. Ignoring "Shout It Out," Greatest Kiss lives up to its billing, since it captures the band's most familiar material — "Rock & Roll All Night," "Strutter," "Beth," "Cold Gin" — on one disc, making it and Alive the only necessary albums for casual Kiss fans.

Best KISS compilation out there!
by Rock 'n MetalI must say, out of all the compilations released by KISS, this has to be the best one. In my opinion, it's the best compilation album I've ever seen! It perfectly compiles 16 of KISS' greatest songs (with the exception of the live recording of 'Shout it out Loud') altogether to make the perfect example of a 'Greatest Hits' album. I find this album so great because the order of the selected songs for the album are so well-put together that you'd swear it was one of KISS' studio albums and not a compilation. If anyone out there is new to KISS and wants to get a feel of their material before buying an actual album, I recommend that you buy 'Greatest KISS' if you want the perfect taste of one of the greatest hard rock bands in history!
