iTunes Review

Tapestry played like an instant greatest-hits album upon its arrival in 1971, and not only because King — a major behind-the-scenes songwriter for a decade — revisited her classics "Will You Love Me Tomorrow" and "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman." Offering new standards like "You've Got a Friend" and a double-sided AM radio smash in "I Feel the Earth Move"/"It's Too Late," the album all but took over the pop-rock world. It ultimately stayed on the Billboard album chart for some 300 weeks.) Tapestry caught the mood of a changing America (and any fan of Joni Mitchell's Blue should also listen to this classic). Two bonus cuts augment this expanded edition.

I loved this album when it first came out, from my older sister. I purchased it today for my iPod, and it brings back cherished memories. Carole Kings voice is so pure, a rare gem. I just love to listen to her and remember. This is music, not what is on the radio today, this is pure music, at it's best.
