Album Review
Where Brad's debut album was about experimenting with rhythms, their second record, Interiors, is about songwriting. Given its title, it perhaps shouldn't come as a surprise that Interiors is an introspective collection, but its tempered sound is somewhat of a shock when considering the grunge background of the entire band. In short, where Pearl Jam, Mother Love Bone and Satchel were all reminiscent of '70s hard rock, Brad now sounds like '70s soft rock. They don't quite have the songwriting skills of any Californian band from the '70s, but the sound is pleasant enough, making it roughly as successful as the uneven Shame.

Interiors
by Obama is not fascistI got to meet Shawn recently at a Vera Project fundraising dinner and of course, he's soulful and cool, and he played the piano and sang The Day Brings and some other favorites. It was a little piece of heaven. I LOVED Brad and Pigeonheads music. I asked him about the Alpental song called Lift and he said his friends (maybe he did too?)would go skiing there at night, drink beer, cool vibe, so that's why he wrote the song. This guy is powerfully talented.
The Day Brings
by T-inmanFall leaves. Coming home and hearing it on local college radio. During sunrise. What can one say?
Sweet!
by angrywhitemanThe review was pretty lame. This is some great stuff. Shawn is awesome, this is powerful, soulful sing along music that still breaks into some killer guitar riffs and rocks n' rolls a bit. It's almost as good as Pigeonheds (The Full Sentence) release. If you like this get Brad - Discovery Park as well, I don't see it on itunes, worth buying.
