Album Review

Minnesota native Sara Groves released her sophomore project, All Right Here, in August 2002. The album serves as the second chapter to her debut release, Conversations. It provides listeners with a further glimpse into the heart of Groves, offering 13 new acoustic folk-pop and at time country-flavored songs focusing on a variety of relationships. The track "Fly" speaks of romantic love, while "Every Minute" looks at friendship and "First Song That I Sing" addresses her relationship with God. Additional songs include "Remember Surrender" and "Jesus, You're Beautiful."

Sara has such a gift! This album, as with her others, is fabulous. Very heartfelt. Relaxing. Thought provoking. Definitely worth the money. I can't wait to buy it for someone else.

ok, I don't care for her voice, but her lyrics... WOW!

I'm not a slow-and-boring music lover... Really. Third Day, Point of Grace and FFH are not on my iPod. ((Don't get me wrong, they're great if you like that sort of stuff! I'm more of a Skillet, Family Force 5 and Tokio Hotel fan.)) However, I adore the song "Maybe There's a Loving God". Seriously, it's like she wrote it with me in mind. I've spent "all night in the backyard / lookin' up at the the stars and the moon". In all honesty, while the rest of the album is ok, ((in my mind)) I'll give it a 4 mostly because of that song. "Less Like Scars" is also worth mentioning.

I love this singer!
