Rap's fresh new sound.

by XsB

Akira the Don truly is a gem. He's pioneering a new style unknown to the US. These lyrics have substance, they have meaning. They're not just your typical gangster "up-in-the-club-player-gangster-and-getting-booty-yo-yo-yo" type of rap. He has a lot of different beats and styles varying from a less serious and more upbeat "Oh! (What a Glorious Thing)" to tracks like "Back In the Day" with even kids singing the chorus.
Unlike a lot of today's rap scene in which all songs sound virtually the same, Akira brings new, meaningful, and catchy music in this rock-solid album.
