Go To Stax In Memphis & Buy This Album
by Will E. CoyoteDo the right thing here and take a trip to Memphis and go to the Stax Museum and buy this album, in it's entirety on CD. The full version is stunning. It has (almost) every song from Stax you could ask for in one compilation. If you have to pick the songs off one at a time on iTunes, I can understand, but a visit to Stax will make these songs pleasing to your heart and SOUL, not just your ears. Soulsville U.S.A. lives on forever!
partial album?
by Radiant CityExcuse me, but why can we only by this by song? Why a partial album? If this isn't the entire collection -- what's missing? You do the splendid Stax Records no service by not permitting customers to buy the entire collection.

by JpdorEssential Listening for anyone who considers himself a music enthusiast, this wonderful collection preserves the artists' integrity while highlighting the paucity of imagination in most of today's music. The craftsmanship of the songwringing is unaparralled as are the performances. So come do the "Funky Chicken" 'cause this ain't no "Hearsay", but a heresy if you don't go out and get this.
