A horrible price!

by Mr. Pleasant

Wow- I think this is the first time I've seen on iTunes where it's cheaper to actually buy each song individually- just forget Piano Songs, it's a clunker anyway. Jon isn't ideal for the unplugged format because his unplugged playing is very unspectacular. Examples of this are on the formerly deftly played Yes songs, now reduced to weak imitation. Keep the band!

Hangin with Jon

by SousWee

I was lucky enough to catch Jon at the House of Blues in Chicago during this tour, and it was fantastic!!! Very intimate, I felt like I was at his house for the evening. Jon is a very warm person and listening to him play so many tunes in a stripped down format was a great treat, and his warmth shone through evey song he played. I guess this is a case of listen to the message, and the messenger. God Bless You Jon

Uneven Performance

by HeyJP

Very uneven performance from one of my stars of childhood. Jon's voice is a bit shakey on some of these. "Long Distance" and "And You and I" work well. Some others don't. Y'know, Eric was brilliant unplugging "Layla". Chrissy was inspired when she unplugged "Private Life". But, I'm sorry. Some songs need to stay plugged in: "Roundabout"? Say it ain't so. I cried sad tears (not good) when I heard this version. Jim
