It justs keeps getting better doesnt it?

First there was Sounding the Seventh trumpet. Awesome screamo album. We were introduced to Avenged Sevenfold. Then there was Waking the Fallen. It was a mixture of screaming and singing. We got to see the awesomness in M. Shadows voice. Then their was the most recent album City of Evil. Shadows decided not to scream anymore. And went with a more melodic tune. We got see how the band does without screaming. And now thousands of A7X are anxiously waiting for October 16, 2007. For that is their new self-titled album. Its going to rock the hell out of everyone. Get a taste of the album and buy this song. Its so worth 99 cents. It should be worth more. But itunes is very generous. Thousands are getting it, you should to.

OverPolitical?!

Some of the reviews complained that this song is bad because "now it's hip & cool to be all political." Take a look around in this country. It hasn't become "hip" or "cool" to be "all political." It's all good when bands are angry about mommy & daddy, or whatever other childish things most contemoprary rock band are whining about; but when a band grows up and directs thier anger in a mature direction, suddenly they've "sold-out." This song rocks! Ya'll are just upset because now you can actually UNDERSTAND what the song is about; Grow up, will ya'!

A7X does it again.

Excellent, excellent track. Although we've been told that the rest of the album won't sound much like this, if it did then it would not be a problem. The organ intro gives us a taste of things to come, if what the band members have said about the new album is anything to go on. Then we hear what we know to be the sound of Avenged Sevenfold. The intro solo is classic Syn style, there is a lot of dueling guitars going on too. Hearing the Rev take some lead parts in the singing is amazing, his voice provides a unique contrast with the lower, grittier one of Shadows. The spoken word parts are new to A7X, but they are done well. This is an amazing track, I fully recommend.

Years Active: '00s

The members of metalcore outfit Avenged Sevenfold (or A7X) were still attending high school in Huntington Beach, CA, when they formed their band in 1999. Nevertheless, it didn't take long for M. Shadows (vocals), Zacky Vengeance (guitar), Synyster Gates (guitar), the Reverend (drums), and Johnny Christ (bass) to make an impression with their aggressive hybrid of metal and punk-pop. The band made its official debut in July 2001, releasing Sounding the Seventh Trumpet on the Good Life label before...
