It's refreshing!!!!
     

Egypt Central's debut lp has been a long time coming! Now that it is available, fans of Evans Blue, 10 Years, 30 Seconds to Mars and Breaking Benjamin will be very happy. Like those bands, Egypt has crafted a series of strong songs that blend heavy hard rock guitar licks with the brilliant melodicism of a singer that actually SINGS. They aren't afraid to write hooks that get caught into your head either. This one is definitely infectious and best heard in the car, loud, while being sung to. Buy, Download, Enjoy!

GREAT BAND!
     

I found this band in the fall of 2007 and they are a find. Don't let the unusual band name fool you...they rock! Unique sound. Great blend of melody and aggression. Top songs would be "Different", "The Way", "Taking You Down" and "Over and Under". I would have given them 5 stars if there wasn't a few mediocre songs. There are 9 very good ones though. Enjoy!

Very Original!!!
     

Egypt Central is a band that you can listen to over and over and never get bored. The lead singer has a totally unique and original voice. I found this band by accident but just decided to listen to it anyway, and I was completely blown away!!!! My favorites are Taking You Down, Different, You Make Me Sick, and Over and Under. Buy this album and you will not regret it!!!

Based in Memphis and named after one of its roads, hard rock group Egypt Central were formed by lead singer John T. Falls in 2001. After being signed to LAVA Records in 2006, the band entered the studio to begin work on its debut album. However, downsizing at the label led to the band being dropped before the album could be fully completed. Despite this, one of the tracks, "Over and Under," came to the attention of the WWE and was subsequently used in the film The Condemned. Regional radio airplay...
