absolutely unique, channeling Interpol/Wolf Parade
by StellululuI saw Wintersleep open for Wolf Parade; I love the whole album and listen to it often. Their sound has Interpol- and Wolf Parade-like elements, but it is also very original: the song "Weighty Ghost" has an upbeat, almost folk-inspired tune, and the ethereal hollowness of "Drunk on Aluminium" is uniquely their own. This album is sharp and intensely different, I highly recommend it.

Amazing band!
by BuckyoceanSaw these guys last night as an opener to Portugal. the man, i had heard like two songs on youtube before and assumed they would be decent.. but they were so much more than decent, Wintersleep has to be one of my top new found bands of the year, there incredible. and this cd is definitely there best work. recomended to anyone who enjoys... music, really.
Best songs (in my opinion): Archaeologists, Laser Beams, and Weighty Ghost.
