by robert archi am so glad that someone has brought Kiki Dee back out of the limbo of overlooked cds. "little frozen one" is one of my favorites and finally available. a softer song than some of the others on this album it reminds me of a mother talking to her child with its lilt and lullaby effect. yet the subject matter can also be considered on higher levels. the back side of albums were always neglected by radio, this is one gem that should have been played much more.

by 50goingon12 This was her 'debut' studio album produced under the auspices of Elton's Rocket records and his production... overall what stands out is Kiki's voice. Not many can scream on key! Of course, the title song is classic, but the others are really vehicles to show her amazing and underrated voice. The second album with Rocket, 'Kiki Dee' includes 'Chicago' and some other wonderful songs. Personally, I'd wait for 'Kiki Dee' which leaves my head shaking, wondering how such a vocal talent escaped immense popularity.

Still have the original albums, but have been long awaiting the remastered versions.
