I've really enjoyed this album :)
by brs212I first hunted down this album because I fell in love with "Every Little Thing" after I heard it on Being Erica. I was then really happy to see that the album also had awesome versions of "Songbird" & "Martha" because they are two of my favorite songs. Melanie's voice is both pure and haunting.
Chopin Ballad
by tictacnat07I have never listend to her before, but she has an amazing voice. I heard 'Chopin Ballad' on Flashpoint tonight and had to have it. I haven't listend to all the songs through, that's why rating is so low.
Beauty in Voice
by 3 biggest fansI have fallen in love with Melanie in a matter of a few minutes! Her just over two-minute song "Chopin Ballad" put tears in my eyes, and made me think of my own love. I was at first deterred by her music categorized in 'County', as I am not the biggest of country music fans, however Melanie's music captured the spirit of country ballads without too much twang and lost dog enigma. I also am considering the slow but delicate song "I Can't My Eyes Off You" for a slow-song in my wedding. It has the solitude and grace that I feel her lyrics has bottled my own relationship for my own special someone. Try her music on- you just might find she sings your own personal love song!
