iTunes Review

In the studio this duo from Boulder, Colorado (hence the 303 zip code moniker) specializes in hilarious hip-hop rhyming over cartoonish electronic soundscapes and synthesizers that sound pilfered from early 1990s gangsta rap albums. Following a techno-tinged intro, their second album opens with "PunkBitch," a festival-friendly party anthem that could have been penned by Adam Sandler. "Don't Trust Me" dares to rhyme "vegetarian" with "scared of him" while poking fun at urban hipsters to a sexed-up dance floor chorus that would make Peaches jealous. Similarly tongue-in-cheek is the infectious and minimally arranged "Chokechain" which makes light of tough guys who use pit bulls and rottweilers as testosterone accessories. With all the witty cynicisms that pepper Want, "Still Around" is an anomaly ballad that stands out like a big, beautiful, sore thumb. It weaves minor chord piano notes with a dramatic string section, fitting beats, and emotive lyrics about trying to keep a relationship going in the midst of a successful career as a hit making dipsomaniac.

A Real Improvement From Their Other Album!

I began to be interested in 3OH!3 after I heard Don't Trust Me and Starstrukk. I listened to this album and found that those and punkb*tch are about the only good songs on the album. All of their songs sound alike. Their beats and even melodies. That's why I gave this album three stars. It's decent, but not worth buying the whole album. Just buy these songs and you'll be set:
Punkb*tch
Don't Trust Me
Starstrukk

Okay guys, put the gun down...

I really don't have that much of an opinion for this band; Don't Trust Me is one of my favorite songs, but I couldn't care less for everything else on this album. I just wanted to post a review to ask you people... why the hell are you so sensitive? Okay, so they wrote a demeaning lyric about Hellen Keller, and OHMAHGAWD SHE WAS SO IMPORTANT AND THESE POZERZ (what does that even mean?) ARE INSULTING THE BLIND COMMUNITY!!1! Um, no. They're not. They're doing what every other popular bad does these days; making up lyrics that will stick in your head. I don't think that they're out to get blind people just because they made an innuendo about a historical icon that just happened to be blind. Stop getting your panties in a knot about a stupid song lyric. I don't see you people complaining when Bush gets degraded and trashed.

Anyways. Band's okay, but nothing memorable. Beats are good. Lyrics are catchy. Singing is horrible. The band members are not trying to cause an uprising; they're just horny boys being horny boys. End of story.
