Album Review

This 2008 compilation from Sony/BMG collects 16 tracks from genre-bending British trip-hop artist/producer Finley Quaye's seven-year tenure with Epic Records. Quaye's heady blend of dub, reggae, rock, and trip-hop won him a sizable following on the strength of a handful of hits, some of which ("Sunday Shining" and "Even After All") appeared on his 1997 debut. Fans looking to avoid picking up Quaye's three full-length releases (which were arguably spotty) would do well with The Epic Years.
