The song isnt to britney
I think alot of people have misunderstood the message and concept to the song. Yes, it is called britney, but no, it is not for her. The song displays an incredible message to the world and importantly Christians of how we have been representing ourselves. Britney spears is used in the song because she is the perfect example, as someone well known to everybody. We take a look at a person like her and we see a person who the world views as messed up, therefore we have decided that she doesnt deserve God's grace. He shows his grace in so many incredible, undeniable ways, but it is also our responsibility to show God's grace to others in the way we live our lives every day. But the truth slaps us in the face only to say that that millions of people everwhere, everday, are mocked and treated just like britney only mostly not in the media. We plainly display the message "no grace for you," without realizing that we could be turning them away from God or even a normal life. God's grace IS amazing, so lets start showing it to the world instead of denying it. Thanks bebo for the awesome song.
