All Sorts of Perfect.
by Tuxedo RaptorThis album is ridiculously good - and just to let you know, I'm not the type of person who takes statements like that lightly. FPF is soothing yet exciting, and soft while a bit edgy. I can't get enough of this band - you can dance to them, you can sleep to them, you can sit in the car and happily hum along, because let's face it; there's no one out there who can replicate the lead singer's voice. PREVIEW THE SONGS AND BUY THE WHOLE ALBUM. This is an album worth purchasing and listening to repeatedly, I promise! :)
Infectious and hopefully contagious
by jpickle99Postal Service meets Pinback -- and I mean that as a compliment. I was very pleasantly surprised when I heard this album, which I decided to get after someone tipped me off to "North by North". I hope to hear more from this band in the future.
Layered and warm simplicity
by el_doctorThis pop trio accentuates their simple but cozy pop arrangements with blippy and bright electronic harmonics. This extra layer helps the band lend depth where others might drown in poppy boredom and gives new life to otherwise played-out Sonic Youth-esque riffs (see: Logos). Never overbearing, I found this mixture to be seamless, warm and invigorating. I am anxious to see this band grow within this fun format.
