SICKKKKK

this new album is amazing, and SO much better than the other one.
I've heard that this band was heading in a new direction, which dissapointed me at first, but then I actually listened to the album....and it's straight up amazing, I promise you won't be dissapointed.
The Comedown - 8: great heavy track

Chelsea Smile - 9: like a better, more melodic version of the comedown with a sweet soft interlude

It Was Written In Blood-8: Very different than anything the band has done before, with a great chorus; making a great song

Death Breath-7 :GREAT HEADBANGER, but not much else

Football Season Is Over-7 :Not too much to talk about, but it's a good track, especially towards the end

Sleep With One Eye Open-7 :Really good track, but not different enough from the others to make it amazing, although it is very fast, and has my personal favorite breakdown on the whole album at the end

Diamonds Aren't Forever-10 :My favorite track on the whole album, with one of the best intros I've ever heard in any song ever. That chant gets stuck in your head for daysss.

The Sadness Will Never End-9 :A Great melodic song with good singy guest vocals

No Need for Intro....-9: INSANEEEEE song, even if it's only a minute long, I love it

Suicide Season-9: GREAT song. Incredibly experimental, and actually quite pretty, along with some breakdowns.

BUY THIS!

honestly people?

its called CHANGE
get a life.
accept it for what it is, not what they used to sound like.
and trust me, there is still plenty of oli's unique screaming in here.
he still hits amazingly high highs and low lows.
ANYWAYS!
this album is, well, godly.
i sincerely love every single song, even more than count your blessings.
and everyone knows how amazing that album was.
but, they have gotten so much better, and the annoying recording quality is gone.
so, now, the instrumentals can shine through, along with oli's amazing lyrics and vocals.
break it down now?

VOCALS/LYRICS:
seriously, i drum and scream for my band, and oli is a god at what he does.
everyone should seriously look up to him if they want to be a vocalist.
period.
he can do everything.
hardcore yelling, death metal lows, and black metal highs.
i seriously would do this guy if he would give me his skills.
what a wonderful vocalist.
the lyrics are good, but not amazing.
"i know something you don't know?"
kind of childish, but acceptable.
they can be amazing though.
especially at the breakdowns.
i love his lyrics then.
soooooo good.

INSTRUMENTALS:
heavenly.
the drums are ridiculously difficult.
i hate it cus i cant play any of these songs. [yet]
:P
but i love them cus they are amazing.
so is ever riff on this album, it is more melodic than count your blessings, but heavier in a way as well.

BREAKDOWNS:
best i have ever heard.
just listen to the one in chealsea smile or diamonds arent forever.
you will understand.

PRODUCTION:
so much better than the last album.
i can hear everything!
wow!

overall, a very solid metalcore release for 2008.
im so glad they got away from deathcore [which i love], but it did not fit them.
support this band, buy them, see a show.
they are soo good.
oh, and whatever you do, download diamonds arent forever... NOW!
best song ever much?
oh hell yeah.

1901??????

I'm pretty sure this album wasn't out in 1901. but regardless, its a masterpiece. bmth has a more mature sound on this album. its a must have.

Biography

Formed: 2004 in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England

Genre: Rock

Years Active: '00s

Fronted by a floppy-haired clothing designer who looks quite a bit like an emo version of Saturday Night Live's Andy Samberg and sings in an unusually high-pitched vocal style suggesting that the Darkness' Justin Hawkins was a key unacknowledged influence, Bring Me the Horizon aren't the average deathcore band. The group was formed in Sheffield, England, during 2004; singer Oliver Sykes, guitarists Lee Malia and Curtis Ward, bassist Matt Kean, and drummer Matt Nicholls originally established their...
