Carol of The Bells

Carol of the Bells is by far the best instrumental song I have ever heard in my life. I like Thousand Foot Krutch, but they ruined Jingle Bell Rock, don't buy the whole album, just Carol of the Bells.

Umm...sure!

*NOTE: I've only listened to the clips and am writing my review from that, but I do plan on getting the full songs*

So the X series has always put out good compilations on a yearly basis, plus the X Worship volumes. This is a bit different, since the acts are doing Christmas songs. When listening to this, keep in mind that it is a cover; the band is going to put THEIR own style on the song, not try to make it exactly as you've heard it before. With that in mind, you can listen, laugh, and even love this record. Most of the songs are really listenable; in fact, a few have been previously released (Gloria on HN's Gloria EP, Evergreen and CBPCH on Happy Christmas 4, and the JoC song on their Christmas record). I personally enjoy the metal version of Carol of the Bells. Jingle Bell Rock was laughable, but the good kind of laughable. Overall, it's a pretty good project with a couple less-than-awesome tracks. It's worth getting if you like it.

Tracks to look into: Little Drummer Boy, Feliz Navidad, Christmas Shoes, Silent Night, Carol of the Bells, His Favorite Christmas Story, Angels We Have Heard on High

AWESOME!!! YEAH!!!

Okay. August Burns Red is awesome and so is everone else on this album. Do yourself a favor and click "Buy Album." Not to mention it is a very good deal! 17 tracks for $9.99. Awesome!
