An answer...
by 7kisngA previous reviewer couldn't put his finger on why this album is good, but not great--I couldn't either until I realized that there is a "sameness" about every song--the tempo is basically the same. The artist uses instruments tastefully, but he needs to be more a creative, more risky songwriter. I really like this one, and would urge i tunes folks to download this debut.
Leave Ruin
by Green-EGREAT music! All of the songs have meaning to them, and each one has a story and message for all of us. I would buy this whole album. Morning Worker, though, is one of my favorite songs on this album and byStrand of Oaks. These guys are most DEF going some where very soon!!!
niceness
by bwithhcutsthis is a very good album. there is something preventing it from being a great album. i cant put my finger on exactly what is missing, but if it wasnt close to great, i wouldnt mention it. highlights for me are "end in flames", "lawns breed songs", and "sister evangeline". the other review is correct in saying that there isnt any filler though. if you need modern comparisons, i would be inclined to reference horse feathers, bonnie prince billy, and samamidon. definitely one to keep an eye on. this is believable stuff.
