See them Live

by Cody Pomeray

I feel no shame when I say this is one of the best bands out today. There is nobody else like Toubab Krewe. This incredible album is only a testament to that. I highly suggest seeing them live and checking out more of their shows on archive.

Always love them

I have lived in Ashville and now in Raleigh and I always make it a point to see these guys, my friends and I always have a blast with their music and at the shows. Make it a point to buy their CD and support a great band!!

See them live!

Unreal! These guys are making it from humble beginnings. Their music is definitely the result of trips to west africa and lots of hard work on the road. I've known these guys since middle school and I couldn't be happier for them. Every influence imaginable from Outkast teases to traditional Malian melodies. In the words of another band "They are yet to really offer their best". Catch them live! Their first album is so old at this point it doesn't really represent how far they have come.
