Not for everyone, but still amazing
     

If you actually listen to the lyrics, you can tell that lead singer, Frank Iero, has really put his heart into his lyrics and his music. People who listen to this band because "oh em gee frankie Lero is SoOoOo hawwtttt!!" should not listen to Leathermouth. the lyrics are meaningful and they say all the things that everyone else is too afraid to say. If you are a My Chemical Romance fan, then don't listen to this just because Frank is in it. It is very different from MCR and there is a good chance that not everyone will like it. I love Leathermouth and I love their lyrics, so if you are into this kind of music, I suggest you click "Buy". Now.

I've been following these dudes for quite a while now, seeing as I used to be a huge fan of My Chemical Romance. So, naturally, I was really excited when I heard this full album for the first time. And let me tell you, it's pretty good. For those of you who are familiar with their demos, you will not be disappointed. The pure, raw energy that they contained has not been lost. It's just flat out hardcore punk rock, with no reservations and no pretentiousness behind their sound. I really think that this band is going places, and I encourage you all to give this album a listen.

I just about had a spaz attack when i learned that this album was coming out TODAY!
Well i actually DID have a spaz attack ( If you count jumping around, and squealing like a 16 year old teenie fan girl, having a spaz attack..)
Leathermouth is MUCH different then MCR or Pencey Prep.
Its more angry and there's a LOT more screaming. Not that im complaining. Im going to forever treasure this album.
And im not just saying im a fan because Frank is in this band.
This is a genuinely AWESOME album.
And if you don't like this album.. Your either deaf or have HORRID taste in music.
On another note.. My favorite song is 5th Period Massacre.
Im probably going to be listening to it on repeat for the next few hours.
After i listen to the whole album together that is..

Not to be confused with the Leatherface punks from England, New Jersey's Leathermouth is the creation of Frank Iero (rhythm guitarist for emo-rockers My Chemical Romance) and his friend Rob Hughes. The two formed the hardcore group in 2007, after passing too much time without an outlet to vocalize their frustrations with society and the world around them.
