Always Pushing the Envelope
     

The track Happy Up Here, track number 2 (not the remixes) continues to exhibit the creative genius of Royksopp. This band continues to remain one of the most underrated bands of our era. That is not to say that everything they've done is stellar, however most of the material this band has presented has been consistently well thought out and produced. To that end, this track Happy Up Here does not disappoint in the least. Personally, the remixes leave a lot to be desired, however the original version I believe holds true to Royksopp's sound! I eagerly anticipate even greater and fulfilling material from this band! In short, keep it up Royksopp!

awesome first single from the norwegian twosome and a great taste of what to come on the new album "junior". reminds me a lot of "eple" but with a fresh sound to it. i am sure the new album will be more sick dance tunes from the duo for both partying and chill out.

Norwegian duo Röyksopp compensated for the cold climes of their native Tromsø by making some of the warmest, most inviting downbeat electronica of the new millennium, exemplified by early singles like Eple and Poor Leno. The pair, Torbjørn Brundtland and Svein Berge, both grew up in Tromsø and began recording in the early '90s.
