Album Review
MIMS' return begins with the "I ain't in the same place" track, which in itself begins with the sound of a needle dropping. Like everything on the album, the opening title track has its heart in the right place, and MIMS' obvious desire to become more than a ringtone rapper is admirable. The highlights are still club tracks, the best of the bunch being the hyphy-esque "Move (If You Wanna)," although there aren't as many this time out. At least MIMS' Kanye West-esque rap-talk style has matured and is now easier on the ears.

Guilt - Mims
by Antonio1995Mims comes out with his second album, Guilt. Unlike, Music Is My Savior, Mims tries a new technique of rapping and finds himself having a Kanye kind of sound to him. Mims barely has any club bangers off the album; there is Move (If You Wanna) and Makin' Money. The whole thing is though Mim's club hits are good, but nothing compared to some of his other tracks. Mims kills on soft rock tracks such as my favorite track off of the album "One Last Kiss" and on my second "Chasing Sunshine." I also enjoy hits such as "Rock 'n Rollin'" which Tech9ne shows up in. Mims lyrics have matured as well as his musical abilities. I can't wait to see what Mims third album will be like hopefully more of a soft rock deal.
One of the best albums of the year.
by HurricaneHayesF'real, MIMS put it down. Great album, that you can pretty much play all the way through. He's got an incredible flow, and solid thought-provoking lyrics. Definitely one of the best albums of the year to go along with Maino and Mike Jones latest work.
