Oh Please Please Please is an awesome journey in fun-ville. You really need the whole album to take the ride! But We Always Set Up On the Floor starts you off on a high note, and tracks like Where's Your Thunder, Dark Arts, Mission to Mars, and my personal favorite Dust Neverlasting bring it home. Oh Please Please Please has a permanent space in my car's CD changer, you should be clearing out a spot for it too.

Trust him: he knows what he's doin'

Another excellent album from Bellingham, WA's No-Fi Soul Rebellion. As with previous efforts, the band presents a solid set of songs that are fun, danceable, and have real meaning behind the lyrics. Standout "Brother Lupine" is among No-Fi's catchiest tracks, yet is dark and mysterious at the same time. Mark Heimer's "everything and the kitchen sink" approach to pop music gives fans of all genres something they will enjoy, and the band's unorthodox live show remains something that must be experienced.
