Intelligent, hip, funky... a rarity!
by DW in SpokaneThese guys play with great taste, write way cool tunes and are eminently hip! Fans of Robben Ford, John Scofield and, and, and.... Well, any other examples of intelligent playing with a hip, vibrant attitude should come to mind, but never mind.
There are serious players out there who are harmonically sophisticated, there are great tune writers, there are players with great feel, there are players who only leave in the good notes, but rarely do these qualities come together in one package.
These guys are a pleasure to listen to, and really don’t sound like anyone else right now... even better, they sound different from the pack AND they are eminently listenable! Get this album, you will likely agree with me!
Super Heroes
by SmoothPhilChuck and Art are like Batman and Robin...the dynamic duo.
I have all of their CDs and they sound phenomenal.
I just wish these guys will come and perform here in Los Angeles.
