best release of 2009 so far
by Hinessyythree guys, who brought new life to Marah a few years ago, added a drummer and a vocalist, and put together a masterpiece. This album surprises, and amazes with all types of styles and influences. Master dobroist Mike "Slo-Mo" Brenner guests on three tracks that send this album over the top. "Before I'm Free" is my favorite at this point, but I keep finding more in each song, on every play.
Amazing Band, Amazing Album
by dUb-iLLReally great album from these guys out of the exploding Philly scene. From New Wave to straight up Rock 'n Roll, Adam & Dave's Bloodline really cover the entire spectrum as far as genres go. The album has a great flow to it from front to back. From the spine tingling opener "Curating Disasters" to the sweet, melodic closer "Before I'm Free" this album really runs the gamut of sounds and emotions. Check them out live if you get a chance, you will be in for a terrific night of music.
