by SweeneydeppjrSome people I've talked to said this was a terrible cover because it didn't sound like the original, but isnt that the point of covering a song? The artist, in this case Seether, makes the song their own.
Thats what they did here; it's a fantastic cover because it's unique, but still has a vibe of the original...

Interesting, Good
by the fredIt took a couple of listens for me to get it, but once I got it I couldn't get it out of my head.
The poor reviews should have been expected; it's a departure from the band's norm which will scare away their average fans and it's a complete 180 of Frank Sinatra's version which will turn off the music purists. If you can approach this with an open mind for something weird and different, you might find a new favorite. If you're looking for something either Seether-like or Frank-Sinatra-like, you're just in the wrong place.
