Best $10 I've spent in a long time

by Jacob C

I have listened to the entire album all the way through several times now, and I'm still extraordinarily happy with it. If I only bought one album this year, it would be Backspacer. I feel that Pearl Jam gets overlooked because they're an old band, but this high quality of an album should definitely be a part of your collection. It has a good stylistic variety but flows wonderfully. Unthought Known is my new favorite PJ song.

Very good

Eddie Vedder continues to be intriguing and the rest of the band continues to provide good, solid musical output. The arrangements are well-done, the production is crystal clear. While I have every album and consider myself a big fan, i enjoy this album as much as I did Yield or No Code. The last few albums had good songs intertwined with songs that were un-inspired sounding, but this entire album sounds inspired. I love it. I hope they continue down this path--- keep the producer!!!!!

Whole album
