A New Era for Hawk Nelson!!!
A lot has happend to Hawk Nelson through the year. Being in movies, having thier songs in hit tv show & sports trailers. But this album really show growth in them as a band. "LLL" sounds very different then thier past albums. Each song has it's own touch & flows really nicely from track to track. And this time thier lryics are killer!!! Something I always felt like they lacked in psat albums. Songs like, "Meaning of Live", "Alive", "Shaken" blow me away! & also they also keep thier old school punk/rock fun as well without selling out. Songs like, "Ode to Lord Stanley", "The Job" & "Long Ago". & on top of that thier so an awesome cover of "Tis So Sweet"! I truly believe Hawk Nelson is findind who they are as a band musicly as well as growing closer to God & it showing through in thier lryics! I beileve God has great things in store for them! Maybe not the #1 band of the year or they may not make it big in the mainstream music world (tho that would B awesome). But they are changing lives for Christ!!! Keep doing it for him guys!!!!!
Soldier of Christ?
I'm sorry, but I don't agree. Please don't ignore me. This is CHRISTIAN rock. These songs are Hawk Nelson's way of reaching out to people. This may be someone's only oportunity to hear about Christ.
You're being very stubborn. Please hear me out. I personally have had my life changed with this music. I used to listen to secular garbage, but I got my life turned around, and I began listening to Christian rock. That has made by walk with God more fun and easier to figure out. Jesus has spoken to me and touched my heart through this music multiple times. How can that happen if this music is "evil"?
Ephesians 5:19 says: Sing and make melody before the Lord. Does it say sing, but not in this particular style? Or Don't sing like that, but like this?
Psalm 33:3: Sing unto Him a new song; play unto him skillfully with a LOUD noise. The Hebrew word for song in this verse means: any religious song or hymn. If you ask me, this music is totally religious.
Please listen to me. I'm not mad at you; I'm frustrated with your way of thinking, but I still love you.
Love the CD!! Love The band!!!
I absolutely love the CD!!! You guys have yet to make a song that I truly dislike!! In the midst of one of the worst weeks I've ever experienced, this turned it all around and made it soooo much better!!! I love how you guys ahve so many different sounds on this cd!! Keep rockin' for Jesus and I love you boys!!!!!
