Why album only?
by Smoke the MagnificentAll I wanted to buy was a high-quality version of Fantastia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis, but to my surprise, it was album only! Why? The short segment I heard from it sounded to be, by far, the best recording on iTunes. Why don't they have it for sale by itself? I am very disappointed.

by traddyI've worn out two copies of this album (one vinyl and one CD). These are the pieces that most people think of first when they think of Vaughan Williams, and with good reason. Virtually perfect recordings of exquisite music.
Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis
by rebeccawaveI heard "The Lark Ascending" on the radio (KUSC, Los Angeles) and fell in love. I wanted to get the version I heard (this one, by Neville Mariner) because the performance was breathtaking and luckily the album was available on iTunes. I realized then that it also included the title track of the album which I have always loved hearing and wanted to have in my collection.
