Lou has some serious skills and uses them to rap about s**t that people can relate to, generally, rather then how much better he is then the average mc. In regard to 'the ugly truth', yes, it is from the perspective of our former president. Jesus just chill out everyone with the 'racist' comments.

by Alec LeibsohnThe album is sick... logic is a skilled mc. "Fair weather fan" is defiantly a favorite. On "the ugly truth"... I understand he's talking about Bush and small minded america, but still, he wrote those lyrics, those are his rhymes, and they came from his head. The racist ideas are still offensive when I hear them, especially when they come out of Logic's mouth. Still love him, but that song was a risk he shouldn't have taken.

by DaRealI got Sin-a-matic back in '03 and arguably this was one of the best releases of 2003. I remember cats were saying he was flowing like Eminem. Not so. the imagry and story telling is impeccable on this album. Check Best Friends, Postal, Revenge, The Ugly Truth, Idiot Gear and Dust to Dust (clips from Chasing Amy). Dos Factotum is a great follow-up to Factotum from Music to Drink By. You also gotta check Service the Target with Grand Agent. Lou definitely has an ill sense of humor. I gotta touch on the peeps comments on The Ugly Truth.... If you don't know what you are talking about STFU! If you really (i mean REALLY) listen to the song, you would know he is talking about Bush and referring to small-minded people and varied racist ideology. Anyone with a modicum of intellegence would be able to figure that out, but as is the unfortunate norm, people talk b4 getting their facts straight. Its funny, whenever I see comments from peeps that are totally uninformed, I check there other album reviews for a point of reference. You'll see they're generally idiots....
