Album Review
Except for a few minor differences — a couple of different track selections, two fewer songs — 20th Century Masters largely duplicates The Best of the Gap Band, which means that it isn't a bad compilation at all, just a largely unnecessary one. It's mostly a toss-up as to which is better, although The Best of the Gap Band may have a slight edge due to its inclusion of a couple of 12" versions, as well as the fact that it has two more songs than 20th Century Masters.

These songs will make you groove until out of breath
by FunkyDaveThese guys perfected the funk/dance genre. Their music had a way of getting a club whipped into a frenzy almost within an instant and held the momentum throughout. These are fun and energetic funk dance tunes that make it impossible to sit still. I keep most of these on an ipod and I must look really silly to my wife as I sing the songs with the headphones on and spasticly try to dance a funky cool groove. Most of these songs are over 22 years old but still help get a party going.

by $MoneyMaker$This is an album that took place upon the rhythum of soul and R&B since the 1970's and still exist today in the year 2007 if you don't know The Gap Band there's a world of music you're missing from the source of soul and Old school slow jams.
Best of Gap
by Nikki1997This is really a best of cd. The best songs of the Gap Band are on the cd and it is worth getting.
