LONG TIME FAN
by -aLYsOn-this christmas album has to be the best christmas album in my library. my family listens to it over and over all through out the christmas season. i absolutely love the sound of eclipse. they are fantastic. my favorite song has to be 'this year' i also love 'the christmas song' and 'room in the in' great job eclipe- keep it up
Almost an Instant Classic
by Chris & SueRarely do Christmas albums have cohesiveness from beginning to end, especially when 3 new songs combine with classic spirituals. Three Kings does it. The men arrange and perform lush harmonies with a hint of chord substitutions to keep the classics interesting, and the original tunes (The Year, Room in the Inn, and Lullaby) fit right in. The chordal and rhythmic arrangements are smooth, but with enough jazz syncopation to keep it interesting. The tenors are pleasant without too much mixing/processing to get in the way. I especially enjoyed the tempered use of percussion. A great addition to our Christmas album collection!
