Pros and Cons... but lacking overall...
by dsjgkhI was expecting a lot more... maybe that is why I was a little let down. I like the singer's vocals and the piano and violin parts. Some of their rhythms are clever but for the most part it is unoriginal and repetitive. The concept of the "dark country" like sound is unique but the set-up of the songs almost seems like that of a high school band's first go at a full-length album...
Overall, there are some very good elements but if I could get my money back I would've bought something from the Paper Chase or Sigur Ros...
Spectacular, amazing, addicting....

You can never really know all there is to know about one of their songs because each instrument plays an equally beautiful and intricate part. Their songs are so progressive and just....amazing. You can listen to one song over 8 times just to concentrate on one instrument. I Love MBD!
