good.....good.....GREAT

I love this album. Although like another reviewer, I thought the New Fellas was their first album. I like this album better than the New Fellas. This album is mixed better and is diverse. I would recommend getting the true, raw, sense of the cribs before listening to their newer albums.

The Watch Trick- 4/5... This is one of the slower songs on the album. The reason I give it a 4 is because of the deep vocals and the awesome organ in the background.

You Were Always the One- 5/5... The moment Gary begins to singing, you are lost in the moment because of the rythmic drum beat that ross plays. So simple yet so catchy....just like the chorus.

The Lights Went- 3/5...Although this is a favorite of many people. I dont think there is much going on in this song. I like the verse but i'm not a big fan of the refrain.

You & I- 4/5.....This song takes a lot of talent. It is hard to sing those high notes. Anyway, this is one of the more diverse songs on the album but the cribs are masters of making slow songs....and fast ones also.

Things You Should Be Knowing- 4.5/5.....The reason I give this song a 4 is because this song is pure...fast tempo...great vocals.....Cribs.... The .5 is for the part in the chorus when he says "You Can Know the Rest If You Want To!"

Another Number- 5/5....this song has an awesome little riff that is probably the most catchy part of the song. It helps with the vocals and all the elements to making a good song.

What About Me- 6/5....This is obviously the best song on the album. Does anyone else like the refrain as much as i do???????

Learning How To Fight- 4/5....This song is all over the place. Its crazy. Somehow the cribs know how to make it a great rock song. But how??

Tri'elle- 5/5...WHOA...ohoooo.....Greatest part of the song. It really shows how much the backing vocals are needed in some songs.

Baby Don't Sweat- 4.5/5......This song is just rockin'. These brothers are just jamming with great lyrics and passion. That is what it is all about. They better look back at their first album and take notes.

Direction- 5/5....Like most of their songs. Direction has a powerful verse and a soothing chorus. What do ya know?

Third Outing- 4/5...You know, i haven't really listened to this one much...that probably why I don't get it at all. But I even like after just listening to the sample.

Wow.

Just really really really good. amazing rathre, its like aa mix of the old bands like The Beats and The Stones, and modern bands such as The Kooks, and The Shins. And its catchy tunes will not only make you hum it in your head all day, but make you want to hum their songs in their head - not like an annoying pop song. It is definetly a band worth listening to before they go mainstream. I have to say The Lights Went Out is my personal favorite.

Oh, THIS is their first album....

At first I thought The New Fellas was their first album, but then I saw this and I was like "Woah!", they have a first album!LOL! This is a spectacular first album, but I was surprised to find it wasn't better than The New Fellas, as band's first albums are usually their best. No doubt though, The Cribs and this album are brilliant. Keep on rocking!
