Where's the Leppard?
by MTC4Most of these songs are covers of Def Leppard. Seriously? The most popular song on this album is a cover of an underated Leppard tun, "Rock of Ages" and yes, its amazing, as long as it is the original. Wasn't Def Leppard the main characters favorite band in the movie? Com on iTunes!!! I'm tired of the covers of The Beatles, AC/DC, Def Leppard, etc. The Demand is there, and you just fail to supply. Honestly, getting up on a nice day and walking down to your local record store would be better than sitting around a computer looking at fake covers by corporate machines who aren't good enough or don't put any effort into making their own music, so they just sit around and find ways to destroy everybody else. DON'T BUY THIS ALBUM!!!!!!.Click this review as Helpful if you think iTunes should supply more original artists like Leppard. (At least they have Whitesnake)
Great songs
by FezandSwordBut I've seen this cd at a Half Price Books, and it turns out that literally 1-2 of these songs were actually in the movie, the rest were the same sort of music or at least different versions of the actual songs. It was really stupid funny.
Get the LoudLion tracks while you can!
by Sir GeoffreyThis soundtrack is FULL of guilty pleasures...and the best of them come from LoudLion. This band is full of really talented session musicians, songwriters and producers...and it's clear that they LOVE Def Leppard. Their cover of Rock Of Ages seems to be pretty popular here, but the real gems are their originals. "Love Will Break Your Heart" is a dead ringer for "Love Bites"...and it's both outstanding and funny at the same time. Same goes for "Die Tuff"...and, if you like that, go get the song "The Hills Have Eyes" from that movie's soundtrack.
