These versions are better
by mahuti4 of 5 of these songs are featured on the full length Nico Vega album, though the production / arrangement is slightly different. If you really like Nico Vega, and have the full album already I'd still suggest buying this because, in my opinion, these versions are superior to the version found on the full album. Wooden Dolls and Gravity are especially edgy and brilliant here, compared to the flatter versions on the full album. The vocals on both albums are raw, but they seem restrained on the full album in comparison with the versions here.
If you don't own any of Nico Vega's stuff yet, I'd suggest buying this album if you've made it to this page. This is a fantastic band, with decent songwriting, hints of pop, glam, and punk, but without being a cliche of any of those musical genres.

by klubskaAgain like all the other reviews ive read, I saw these kids on myspace, checked them out, and wowzers. Another good band going on my itunes, and I pod, I loveem good unique Sond. Give them a GO!

by stansfield34Saw them Live by accident. They opened up for Von Iva and I happened to show up early. I was blown away by their performance...great guitar and drum work! And of course her vocals are amazing!
They were sold out of their records at the show so I had to get my wooden dolls fix somehow... :-)
