Electronic Improv. And Loop 12
by MociaLoop 12 puts on a cool show. I got a chance to see them in Dallas. It was a full on multimedia experience of live electronic improvisation, mixed with video projection, and atmospheric lighting. While most simply make lap-top music, Loop 12 is an actual symphony of mixers, synthesizes, and toys. Everything is composed on the spot, so there is nothing predictable about the sounds or the music that they create. Its like crossing John Cage with Meat Beat Manifesto. Very fresh.
