Amazing /Perfect!

Powerful, Passionate, Biblical - and just plain GOOD!
by SetOnEdgeTo date, I firmly believe that this is SGM's best c.d. to date. As a worship leader, I have used no less that 4 songs from this disc, and I could have used more. Without going into to great of detail, my youth musicians LOVE playing "It was Your Grace" as an all-out rocker for 'walk-in' music, or slowing it down to a ballad, and brining it out during a passionate time of praise & worship. "All that I Need" is somehow reminiscent of the best of R.E.M., Toad the Wet Sprocket, Vigilantes of Love and even the Ocean Blue in it's 'jangle rock' arrangement, but deeply moving on a spiritual level - a cry from the bottom of the pit recognizing that God is really what we need. "Heavenly Father, Beautiful Son" was probably the most well recieved among our youth, and "Let Your Kingdom Come" had our college students immediately singing alone, eyes closed, and engaged with God, the very first time I introduced it. I will admit it, I like a LOT of Sovereign Grace Music's songs for corporate worship, and their newest - COME WEARY SAINTS - is spectacular, but this is still my favorite. Highly recommended!
