Album Review
Elisa is a star in Italy, where her previous albums have sold in huge numbers, and Dancing is her U.S. debut. She certainly has a fine voice, a slightly dark and unusually timbered one that is perfectly suited to her big, emotional songs of longing and romantic wonder. Although the songs on Dancing can often seem rather shapeless with plodding tempos, they are pretty enough and nicely produced. "Broken" injects a little bit of energy into the proceedings along with a nice rhythmic changeup, and on "Life Goes On" she succeeds in morphing into an understated loveliness that works very well. With better material Elisa might be a world-class talent, as demonstrated by a few impressive moments scattered through this album. [This edition includes a bonus track.]

Exceptional album
by LeiraevElisa's album, "Dancing" is absolutely breathtaking and gorgeous. Her distinctive voice sings the amazing lyrics perfectly. The use of piano is stunning and very effective. Tracks I would definitely recommend are "Dancing", "The Waves", and "Rock Your Soul". I'm quite sure you will not be disappointed by this Italian singer's gorgeous vocals and exceptional melodies.
Awesome Album...brenferg
by btendanceI first heard this wonderful voice a few years ago and it has been a love affair with her music ever since. Not only is she an awesome artist but a wonderful compasssionate role model for her generation. I was priviledged to see all of her West Coast gigs last November on her first North American tour and to meet her back stage. What a warm lovely caring young woman. Her caring was clear to all with her participation at the San Siro concert for Abruzzo June 21, 2009. I heard the whole concert on the internet radio and was almost there...a friend who was stage side and who
continually emailed me describing the action on the stage. What an awesome experience. This album is a must buy for any lover of music...at last count I must have played "Dancing" a thousand plus times and always listening with emotion.
