by Bobo2565On first listen, this track sounds like more of the same from LB's last album - which in my humble opinion had "Castaway Dreams" as its finest track - by far. I was hoping for something different and may be too quick to judge, but if this track is any indicator, I am disappointed. I found the last album too indulgent and not well recorded - which is not a cover for being 'artsty' in my book. I'm all for exploration but the consistent pitchy nature of the vocals now is not cool and the hook in this song is not up to par with previous works. Are artists supposed to get better with time? I would hope. I was expecting more and look forward to hearing the other tracks on the new album. Always a fan, just my two cents.
