Keep 'em coming, Julie!

One of the rarest finds one can make: a truly talented singer early in her career.
Julie's two iTunes-debut songs, the positive "Darling" and the counterpoint "All the Things", are so consummately professional and irresistably addictive that they may partially obscure the exquisite vocal control and remarkable expressiveness that are more obvious in Julie's YouTube videos. The equally addictive title track "Been Through the Fall" has garnered respectable radio airtime since winning Ottawa's Hot 89.9 FM's "Battle of the Beats," even entering its "Hall of Fame" for successive wins over songs performed by household names. Recently, the more contemplative "Leave It Behind" showcases yet another dimension. And we know from Julie's YouTube covers (such as Sarah McLachlan's 'Angel') that her voice reaches soul as well.
Julie's YouTube videos show a warm, modest and unpretentious artist glide from note to note to note so effortlessly, while indescribably "twisting" some notes to beguile the senses in a way that few--like perhaps Jewel's stage performancs--can match. Yet it's still surprising that more people aren't flocking to Julie, since 2008 has proven Julie's success, given the opportunity. The talent is there--so exposure and time are all that are needed.
A unique voice, exquisitely controlled, captures life's experiences for us few who are fortunate enough to know this lady so soon. In the future, you will be bragging "I knew Julie Corrigan back in 2008."
