Great Album
by ojoe21Just discovered Rosi when I read she is coming to our local venue. Can't wait to see her live. Listened to her the first time and simply love it. Original songwriting with a wonderful voice. Great sounding album. Can't wait to buy the physical CD. Hope she has them at the show.
The songs are catchy. The kind that stay with you. Right now 'Hazy' is that kind of song. But actually the whole album is a winner. Glad I discovered her music. Thanks Rosi!
One of my favorites!!
by DolesyI bought this album in Dec 2008 after I stumbled across it here on iTunes. Rosi Golan is an amazingly talented artist. I've owned this album for a little over 8 months now and I still can't stop listening to it! It was the only album I listened to while I relaxed on the beach in Mexico this past winter as well. Perfect music for closing your eyes and letting the words and story take you somewhere else. C'est L'amour is one of my favorites, as she tells of a cliche one-night stand in Paris you can picture the entire scene in your head. I think Slide is one of the most powerful songs on the album. The lyrics are so personal and moving. When she sings "slide...into the fire" I can almost feel myself and the emotional and agonizing slide she so beautifully sings of. You have to listen to get it. Hazy is amazing, The Drifter and the Gypsy - great, great song...I honestly can say there isn't one song on this album that I don't love. I can listen to it over and over and never get tired of it. I only look forward to more music by Rosi Golan!!
