Bruce, come on. I both know and love what you can do, and this is not up to par. You need to fire Weinberg and go back to Asbury Park. What happened to "Incident on 57th Street?" Why can't you have a real drummer and write real music, the way that you used to. I'm even willing to come on tour as your drummer for free, just give me a call. Please, you need to do something.

It's Still Bruce!

Okay I've heard some bad reviews of this song, and I think they're a little unfair. I know the lyrics are a bit simplistic but that falls right in the 'sing-along-Bruce' category. Not every song is as wordy and intricate as Rosalita or as deep as Long Walk Home or as relevant as The Rising. . . some songs are just simple and poppy and appeal to the general public. I don't think that's 'overproduced', it's just everyman type stuff. And it's always been a part of Bruce's line-up. Bruce is diverse and varied and unpredictable. Who woulda thought Glory Days and Nebraska came from the same artist right? That's what makes him the Boss. There's always gonna be something someone doesn't like but there's always tons more that we do!

This is a soothing song done in a pop vain, but thanks to Bruce's vocals adds the gravitas needed to deliver the message.
I want to say thanks to Mr. Springsteen and E Street for making 2008 a great year. NJ in July was one of the best shows I have ever been to as a fan.

When will the new reord be available for pre-order? The Boss made my day!
